Mid Level Full Stack Developer (Front-End Focus) - Hybrid £40-60K
Our Client, a young and innovative startup that has a dual focus of delivering AI consultancy, and platform centric solutions for organisations that interact with unstructured datasets is looking to hire a mid-level, full stack developer to join their growing team. You will have a focus on front-end development and you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining their web-based applications. Your primary responsibility will be to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces, with a strong focus on UX and usability. You will have strong experience with React and Next.js. While the focus will be on the front end, some backend Python experience would be beneficial. An understanding of Azure would be beneficial, with experience of Microsoft Entra/AD integration being beneficial.
Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement AI powered web application solutions

• Building, Supporting the Client's front end web application

• Develop and maintain web applications using React and Next.js, ensuring responsive design and optimal user experience.

• Utilise Python skills for backend tasks, including API development and integration.

• Work with Azure services to deploy and manage applications, ensuring scalability and reliability.

• Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and user interfaces for demo and production purposes.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality, performance, and security best practices.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and bottlenecks.
Requirements:

• Javascript/Typescript (React, Next.js)

• CSS

• HTML5

• Python
Desirable:

• Interest in AI and ML

• Web APIs with RESTful standards

• Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services

• Understanding of secure coding practices

• Strong communications skills are key and an ability to talk with customers at all levels with a good clear and friendly telephone manner.

• Reliable and able to work both with and without guidance.

• Flexible and willing to learn new skills and share knowledge and mentor other colleagues.
