Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Salary: €55,000 - €80,000 per annum DOE

Location: Lisbon, Portugal (Remote)

Our client is a leading FinTech organisation seeking a Portugal based DevOps Engineer to collaborate with in-house experts utilising machine learning research to solve their clients finance obstacles.

This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to be an integral part of ambitious growth period for our client and become a key member of its software engineering, research, and systems teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimising & Maintaining Software Development and Deployment Processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design robust, high-performance software architectures.
• Design and implement production infrastructure and applications

The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of two years of experience in software development
• Highly Proficient in Python
• Have hands-on experience with continuous integration platforms like Jenkins, TeamCity, CircleCI, or Bamboo
• A proven background in automated software testing practices and tools
• Have extensive knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency with Git
• Be familiar with Agile project management principles
• Experience leading technical projects

Preferred Experience:

• Using automation tools like Ansible, Chef, and Puppet
• Exposure to virtualization tools like KVM
• Familiarity with ELK stack configuration and usage
• Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools
• Experience with the Bazel build system
• Linux/Unix administration background
• Proficiency in administering AWS or similar cloud platforms using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform
• Understanding of relational databases (particularly PostgreSQL) and NoSQL data management tools
