Applied AI Engineer | Agentic AI | Remote UK / Europe - €150K

I’m working with a highly well-funded, high-growth technology business (PropTech) that is looking to hire an Applied AI Engineer to join its growing engineering team.

This is not an AI research role. They’re looking for someone who wants to build real AI systems that operate in production, automating complex operational workflows and solving genuine business problems at scale. You’ll be working on:

- Building reusable agentic infrastructure across memory, context management, tool-calling, orchestration and feedback loops
- Developing robust evaluation amp; observability frameworks to understand how agents perform, fail and improve
- Building production-grade LLM and agentic workflows, rather than one-off AI prototypes
- Using coding agents and specialised subagents to explore repositories, implement changes, review architecture, run evaluations and iterate
- Designing systems where LLMs, deterministic software, specialised agents and humans work together effectively
- Helping define the architecture, tooling and engineering standards for agentic systems as the company scales. 

They’re particularly interested in engineers who have:
• A strong software engineering background and have shipped complex systems into production
• Hands-on experience building AI / agentic systems in production
• Worked with challenges around reliability, latency, context management, failure modes, evaluation and observability
• Strong knowledge of agents, tool use, structured outputs and orchestration
• Practical experience using coding agents / agentic development workflows
• TypeScript / Node.js experience, or a strong Python AI background with the willingness to work in a TypeScript-first environment
• A high level of autonomy, ownership and strong product judgement
